Texas Entrepreneur Networks to host Funding Forum
Texas Entrepreneur Networks announced that its Fall Funding Forum tour series will take place from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union in Katy.
The series seeks to pair high-growth start-ups with angel and venture capital investors through pitch sessions around the state.
The session in Katy will include an investor panel of 10 or more who will hear deals pitched by start-up business owners. Entrepreneurs will get 10 minutes to make their proposal with a five-minute question and answer period afterward.
Investors from the panel will evaluate the proposals and follow-up directly with the companies they are interested in.
Entrepreneurs will have four chances to gain interest from investors.
The entry fee is $15 per person.
The Texas Entrepreneur Network provides networking, mentoring and funding for Central Texas business owners. It sponsors regular workshops for the small business community.
The Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union is located at 25525 Katy Mills Parkway, Katy.
