The Club at Falcon Point to host youth golf clinics
The Club at Falcon Point in Katy is hosting junior golf sports clinics Aug. 7-10.
The Tuesday-through-Friday sessions will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and are modeled on the PGA Junior Clinic Symposium. They will focus on motor function skills, muscle development, flexibility and balance, in addition to game fundamentals, skill development and course etiquette. The clinic ends with contests, awards and a pizza party at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, which parents are welcome to attend.
All participants will receive a Falcon Point golf cap. Collared shirts, khaki shorts and tennis or golf shoes are required; denim is not allowed.
The cost to participate is $150. Participants should register at falconpoint.com or by calling the ProShop at 281-392-2582. Cancellations must be received in advance or a 50 percent cancellation fee will apply.
The Club at Falcon Point is located at 24503 Falcon Point Drive in Katy. It offers its members private golf and tennis, dining and special events in its private dining room. There are also programs for Houston children and families, including team and league sports.
