Katy entrepreneurs can seek help at Business Resource Center
Katy-area entrepreneurs can have an edge over the competition with the help available at the Business Resource Center.
According to the Katy Chamber of Commerce, among the services offered by the center is advice from SCORE counselors, who meet with business owners from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays at the offices of the Katy Chamber of Commerce.
In more specialized cases, the release states, the Business Resource Center can provide introductions to representatives of government agencies, financiers and tax accountants, as well as more subtle aspects of developing a business, such as office interior design.
The Business Resource Center's services are free to chamber members, according to the release. Non-members are also invited to participate, as long as they consider joining the chamber and consider making use of chamber members for their business needs.
To make an appointment with the center online, visit www.katychamber.com/BusinessResources/BusinessResourceCenter.aspx.
