Abercrombie and Fitch to open prototype store at Katy Mills

The first Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister prototype store will open in November at Katy Mills.

The store will join the more than 175 stories in the Neighborhood Three section near Calvin Klein. The new store allows shoppers to browse items from both brands in one location.

"Katy Mills is excited to be one of the first locations in the U.S. to debut this new Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister concept store," said Mace Hirt, general manager at Katy Mills, in a press release. "This new addition, complemented by new dining options, solidifies Katy Mills' dominant position as the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in South Texas."

Also coming in the fall to the center are a Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop in September near Aeropostale and American Eagle and a Shota Sushi restaurant near AMC Theatres in October.

Katy Mills is located at 5000 Kay Mills Circle, Katy. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
