Katy Budget Books to host author signing

Former Miss Texas pageant winner Wynter Patterson will sign copies of her book "I am a Pearl" at the Katy Budget Books store Saturday, Aug. 11.

Patterson will be at the book store from 2-4 p.m. Her book is based on Matthew 13:45-46 in the Bible and discusses how to overcome the past and thrive in the future with God's love and forgiveness.

Patterson grew up in the Houston area and is the founder and CEO of Wynter Patterson Ministries and I am a Pearl ministries. She is currently the pastor of the Family Life Ministry at Higher Dimension Church and is a vice president at a financial institution.
