Roosevelt Alexander Elementary issues first-grade supply list

First-grade students in the Roosevelt Alexander Elementary school will need the following supplies for the upcoming school year:

• one 1-inch white view vinyl binder
• one 1-inch black view vinyl binder
• two boxes of 24-count crayons
• four latex-free pink bevel erasers
• one 184 count box of facial tissues
• eight .77-ounce glue sticks
• two 4-ounce blotters of white school glue
• one 8-ounce bottle hand sanitizer with pump
• one pack of 50-count 12-by-18 inch bright white construction paper
• one 50-count pack of 12-by-18 inch manila paper
• one pack 12-by-18 inch assorted colors construction paper
• 36 number two sharped pencils
• one plastic school box
• pair of 5-inch blunt scissors
• 1 eight-count pack of thick markers
• one box of gallon size zip-close plastic bags
• one box of quart size zip-close plastic bags
• one set of five poly dividers with pockets
• one each red, orange, yellow, blue and green pocket and brad folder
• one 70-sheet unruled composition book
• one half-inch ruled 36-count 8-by-10 inch composition book
• one black composition marble composition book
• one pack of index cards, one each wide-ruled spiral notebook in red, orange, yellow, blue and green

The first day of classes for the Katy Independent School District is Aug. 27.
