Roosevelt Alexander Elementary School issues second-grade supply list

Second-grade students in the Roosevelt Alexander Elementary school will need the following supplies for the upcoming school year:

• two boxes of 24-county crayons
• four latex-free pink bevel erasers
• one 184 count box of facial tissues
• four .77-ounce glue sticks
• two 4-ounce blotters of white school glue
• one pack of 50-count 12-by-18 inch bright white construction paper
• two packs 12-by-18 inch assorted colors construction paper
• 24 number two sharped pencils
• two packs eight-count pack of thick markers
• 10 8.5-by-11 inch top load clear sheet protectors
• one each wide-ruled spiral notebook in red, blue, yellow, green, orange and purple
• one black composition marble composition book with lines
• four third-cut letter size file folders
• one plastic pocket folder
• one plastic pocket and brad folder in red, blue, yellow, green, orange and purple
• one 8.5-by-11 40-count Mc-Lit, Z-B, D'Neal tablet storybook
• one 8.5-by-11 40-count Mc-Lit, Z-B, D'Neal regular book
• 60-count regular spiral notebook with pocket
• one 1.5-inch hardback vinyl binder
• pair of scissors
• school box

The first day of classes for the Katy Independent School District is Aug. 27.
