Where are the lowest gas prices in Katy?

Gas prices in and around Katy were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston and the country as a whole for the week of July 29, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 65 gas stations in and around Katy. As of Aug. 4, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Katy is $3.35 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.38, Houston average at $3.38 and the nationwide average at $3.59.

The average gas price in Katy last week was $3.33 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Katy is reported to be $3.26 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Randalls, 1525 S. Mason Road.

Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.55, which was being sold at three gas stations.
