Katy Mills Mall offering tax-free shopping weekend Aug. 17-19

A tax-free shopping weekend will be happening Friday, Aug. 17 through Sunday, Aug. 19 at Katy Mills Mall, located at 242 Howard Ave. in Holland.
 
Shoppers will receive a sales tax exemption on school supplies, clothing and footwear selling for $100 or less per item and computers selling at $1,500 or less per item.
 
During the first two days of the sale, Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18, the mall will be extending its hours to open at 9 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
 
Along with the sales tax exemptions, there will also be special deals offered by various retailers in the mall. These retailers include Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Nautica Factory Store, Kenneth Cole Company Store, J. Crew Factory, LOFT Outlet, Banana Republic Factory Store, Janie and Jack, DKNY, NIKE Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Guess Factory Store, Juicy Couture and more.
 
Katy Mills Mall also offers an exclusive coupon book valued at $500 in savings from top retailers.
