The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Aug. 26 to Aug. 29:

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance) after being arrested Aug. 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides on Denise Dale. He was booked Aug. 27.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class C misdemeanor charge of public intoxication, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 30-year-old male lives on Canvasback in Katy.

A Katy man was arrested and charged with assault of a family member Aug. 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 44, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 26 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides on Sable Palms Court.

A Katy man is facing class B misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) and driving while license is suspended after being arrested Aug. 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides on Briarchester. He was booked Aug. 26.

A Houston man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content more than 0.08 after being arrested Aug. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 28, resides on Coppervine. He was booked Aug. 28.

A woman was arrested on a charge of trespassing on property or in a building (no departure) Aug. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 18-year-old female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 28 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. She resides on Southaven.

A Katy woman was arrested and charged with theft between $50 and $500 on Aug. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 17, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 28 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. She resides on Barkston.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County sheriff on a state felony charge of endangering a child, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 25-year-old female lives on Conrad Lane in Katy.

A woman was arrested on a charge of assault of a family member Aug. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 28-year-old female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 27 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. She resides on Houghton Road.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance Aug. 28, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 19, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 29 and is facing a class C misdemeanor charge. He resides on Coppervine Lane.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 36-year-old female lives on Braken Manor in Katy.

A man was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Aug. 28, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 56-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Aug. 28 and is facing a second-degree felony charge. He resides on Glenover.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of failure to control speed, failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance and driving without a Texas operator's license, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 18-year-old male lives on Pearl Lake in Katy.
