MedSpring Urgent Care opens at River Oaks Houston

MedSpring Urgent Care has opened its fourth center at 1917 W. Gray St., near the River Oaks shopping mall.

The new center offers services which include x-rays, lab work, and treatment of broken bones, illnesses, and allergies.

"We are excited to expand our Houston presence with a fourth center, providing a convenient, comfortable and cost-effective alternative to the emergency room," Jon Belsher, M.D., MedSpring's chief medical officer said in a press release.

MedSpring's services are appropriate for non-life threatening issues and conditions. Patients usually wait no more than one hour to be seen. MedSpring accepts both walk-ins and appointments.

Further expansion is planned with a fifth center opening in Katy in December.
