Host of The Woodlands runners complete Be The One Run 5K
Twenty-five runners from The Woodlands completed the Be The One Run 5K on Saturday, Sept. 15 in Sugar Land.
The runners from The Woodlands were Joe Conway, 45 (17:45); Victor Link, 31 (23:31); David Olson, 42 (24:14); Adam Ring, 31 (24:28); Gerardo Garcia, 36 (27:44); Kyle Burgess, 30 (28:03); Randi Rea, 30 (28:36); Ashley Hallene, 30 (28:51); Jack Cook, 29 (28:51); David McMasters, 41 (29:31); Steven Zoeller, 55 (29:51); Jessica Keegan, 25 (32:48); Kelly Joseck, 25 (32:49); Ben Freeman, 11 (33:04); Susan Freeman, 43 (33:06); Jennifer Link, 29 (34:15); Drew Freeman, 9 (35:11); Jessica Burgess, 29 (36:42); Rebecca Nicholls, 28 (37:24); Richard Nicholls, 31 (37:25); Douglas Link, 6 (39:32); Diana Smith, 34 (42:34); Kevin Hallene, 9 (54:25); Stephen Hallene, 26 (54:29); and Madison Hallene, 7 (55:12).A total of 320 finished the 5K race, which was held at Sugar Land Town Square.
Brian Alvarado, of Houston, was the men's overall winner with a time of 16:42, while Heidi Zimmerman, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with 19:13.
