Weekly sales roundup for Katy, week ending Sept. 23

There were 80 sales in Katy for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 23, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 1819 Hollow Wind Drive. Inge Beenen and Marco Beenen sold the home to Roland Heinrich Kirschnerand and Khristina Leighe Krschner on Sunday, Sept. 23. The 4,581-square-foot, five-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home was built in 1993 and is in the Kelliwood subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 19934 Kellicreek Drive to Martin G. Kaithakottil and Kaithakottil Stephanie and the sale of 1706 Chateau Bend Court to Pauline M. Martinez.

The Memorial Parkway neighborhood had the most sales in the area with 11, followed by Nottingham Country with seven and Kelliwood with two.

Sales volume was 26.6 percent lower than the previous week and 13 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Katy has averaged 83 sales per week during the last 12 months.
