Weekly sales roundup for Katy, week ending Sept. 30

There were 62 sales in Katy for the week ending Sept. 30, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 20210 Chateau Bend Drive. James C. Felder Jr. and Judith H. Felder sold the home to Sonal Malhotra and Sumit Malhotra on Sunday, Sept. 30. The 3,781-square-foot, four bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home was built in 1988 and is located in the Nottingham Country neighborhood, in the Nottingham Country subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 22946 Heathercroft Drive to Kelly Kaleta and Nathan Kaleta and the sale of 20634 Laverton Drive to Gina L. Green and Keith Brooks Green.

The Memorial Parkway neighborhood had the most sales in the area with four, followed by Nottingham Country with three and West Memorial with two.

Sales volume was 22.5 percent lower than the previous week and 21.5 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Katy has averaged 83 sales per week during the last 12 months.
