Weekly sales roundup for Katy, week ending Oct. 14

There were 54 sales in Katy for the week ending Oct. 14, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 1510 Park Birch Lane. Andre Wright and Jacki K. Wright sold the home to David J. Molthen and Eugenia E. Molthen on Sunday, Oct. 14. The 1,450-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home was built in 1984 and is located in the Memorial Parkway subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 6355 Bright Falls Lane to Winston C. White Jr., and the sale of 2106 Castleheath Court to Carmen Lucia Ariano and Gabriel Francisco Suarez.

The Kelliwood neighborhood had the most sales in the area with six, followed by Memorial Parkway with two and Nottingham Country with one.

Sales volume was 37.9 percent lower than the previous week and 49 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Katy has averaged 81 sales per week during the last 12 months.
