ARTreach to honor volunteers at Heroes Among Us event

ARTreach, a local arts educational organization, will host its annual Heroes Among Us event Monday, Dec. 3 at Multiplicity in Katy.

According to a press release, the event will recognize the service of select ARTreach volunteers for their work bringing arts programs and services to under-served populations in Fort Bend, Sugar Land and Katy.

"Everyone deserves an opportunity to experience the arts, to be inspired and to achieve success in our society," Terri Bieber, founder of ARTreach, said in the release. "The impact the arts programs have on neglected populations is measurable."
