The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Thursday, Nov. 8 to Saturday, Nov. 10:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class A misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces in a drug free zone, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 18-year-old male lives in Houston.

A Katy man is facing class A misdemeanor charges of theft between $500 to $1,500 after being arrested on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 23, resides on Ave A. He was booked on Thursday, Nov. 8.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance), failure to produce a driver's license on demand, failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance and speeding, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 24-year-old male lives in Katy.

A Katy woman is facing a class C misdemeanor charge of speeding after being arrested on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 33, resides in Cimarron Parkway. She was booked on Thursday, Nov. 8.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a state felony charge of theft between $1,500 and $20,000, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 19-year-old female lives in Katy.

A man was arrested on a charge of public intoxication (with three prior convictions) on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. Garcia, a 45-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Friday, Nov. 9 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. He resides on Fifth.

A woman was arrested on a charge of theft between $50 and $500 on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 18-year-old female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Friday, Nov. 9 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. She resides on Nottingham Drive.

A Katy man was arrested on charges of retaliation - assault with bodily injury to a public servant on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 48, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Saturday, Nov. 10 and is facing a third degree felony charge. He resides in Hannington Drive.

A man was arrested on charges of theft between $50 and $500 and theft between $500 to $1,500 on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 28-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Friday, Nov. 9 and is facing class B misdemeanor and class A misdemeanor charges. He resides in Corinne.

A Katy man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, first offense blood alcohol, concentration .08 after being arrested on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 22, resides in Banter Point. He was booked on Friday, Nov. 9.
