Katy ISD names Grisdale principal for High School No. 7

The Katy Independent School District has named Mark Grisdale principal of high school No. 7.

Grisdale is currently the principal of Morton Ranch High School. He has also worked as assistant principal for instruction and as a grade level principal at Cinco Ranch High School.

High school No. 7 is the district's newest high school.

"It is a tremendous honor to have been granted the opportunity to open high school number 7," Grisdale said in a press release. "I look forward to working with the students, parents, community, and staff in establishing a campus that will continue the strong Katy ISD tradition of academic and extracurricular excellence."
