Parkside Capital to sell West Ten tract to Medline Industries
Parkside Capital is planning to sell a 56-acre tract of land in West Ten Business Park to Medline Industries.
According to a press release, Park Capital acquired the land in 2008 with the intent of creating a deed-restricted and architecturally-controlled business park for the Katy area. Medline will use the land to build a 500,000-square-foot facility, the first new major distribution center built in the area since 2010.
The facility is projected for completion by June 2013 and, according to the release, will create more than 50 new jobs in Katy.
