Newell's Designs wins bid for storage buildings, spec houses

Newell Cheatheam of Newell's Designs has won bids to complete storage buildings and spec houses in the Katy and Heights areas.

Newell Cheathem, of Newell's Designs, recently completed project plans for two storage buildings and spec houses in the Katy and Heights areas, respectively.

The 58,588-square-foot combination RV and boat building, as well as one climate-controlled building, will be built on 3.96 acres west of Katy by Ward-Brown Partners LLC, and a 3,450-square-foot spec house will be built for Oak Forest subdivision.

Two spec houses designed by Newell are currently being built in the Weston Lakes subdivision of Fulshear. He is also working on designs for a three-story office building to be built in Houston.
