Katy ISD Board of Trustees meeting highlights: Oct. 29

The Board of Trustees of the Katy ISD met on Oct. 29 in the Board Room of the Education Support Complex.

The following items were discussed:

Public hearing - The district’s rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (F.I.R.S.T.) was presented and received.

Consent agenda - the minutes for the board meetings held in September were approved. Various proposals for approval were presented for consideration.

Report - presentations were made regarding KISD Demographic Update and Attendance Boundary Modification Planning.

Information items - reports regarding donated items for Katy Independent School District and quarterly investment were presented.
