Cinco Ranch grad Palmer plays in Rice University loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer contributed 15 points in Rice University's 101-48 loss to Tennessee Thursday, Nov. 15 at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., according to the Rice website.
The Rice University freshman forward also picked three rebounds for the Owls, who are 1-1 on the season.
Rice also played Saturday, Nov. 17 on the road against Tennessee Tech.
Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
