Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates at 29 gas stations in and around Katy as of Saturday, Nov. 17. The average price of regular unleaded gas in Katy is $3.14 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.13, the state average at $3.14 and the nationwide average at $3.44.

The least expensive gas in Katy is reported to be $3.05 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at Murphy USA, 6010 N. Ferry Road.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.29, at Shell, 23255 Kingsland Blvd.
