Cinco Ranch grad Palmer plays in Rice loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer contributed 17 points, but Rice University lost 78-65 to Tennessee Tech Saturday, Nov. 17 at Eblen Center in Cookeville, according to the Rice website.
Palmer also recorded five rebounds and a steal for the Owls, who are 1-2 on the season.
Rice's next game is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 on the road against Texas State.
Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
