Pope John XXIII High School gala date announced
Pope John XXIII High School will hold its 2012-13 gala Saturday, Feb. 9.
The school's 2011-12 gala raised approximately $115,000 to support student programs, such as paying for a new Grand Parkway sign that's currently in the architectural planning and permitting stages as of October.
All items and donations that are solicited for the gala and auction are eligible for the family commitment credit for families with children attending the schools.
Pope John XXIII High School, home of the Lions, is a Catholic, coed college preparatory high school that serves Houston's far west side, including areas of Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, Spring, Richmond, Rosenberg, Memorial and Spring Branch. Pope John XXIII opened in August 2004 and has an enrollment of more than 350 students. The school's mission is to prepare its students to serve God and others. Tim Petersen is the principal of Pope John XXIII High School.
The school is located at 1800 W. Grand Parkway, Katy.
