Cinco Ranch grad Palmer sparks Rice win
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer scored 14 points to help Rice University to a 73-61 win over conference opponent Texas State Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos, according to the Rice website.
The freshman forward also recorded nine rebounds for the Owls, who improved to 2-2 on the season.
Rice University's next game is Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road against UALR.
Palmer is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
