Pope John XXIII grad Costello helps Stephen F. Austin to victory
Pope John XXIII High School graduate Patrick Costello played for Stephen F. Austin State University in its 78-39 win over Jarvis Christian College Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches, according to the SFA website.
The win improved the Stephen F. Austin record to 3-0 on the season.
SFA's next game is at 3:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Tulsa University.
Costello is a freshman forward. He is a 2012 graduate of Pope John XXIII in Katy, where he scored an average of 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds per game. Costello is from Houston.
