Cinco Ranch grad Nwanguma aids Houston Baptist to win
Ashleigh Nwanguma, Houston Baptist University
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashleigh Nwanguma scored four points in Houston Baptist University's 63-60 home win over St. Thomas Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Sharp Gym in Houston, according to Houston Baptist's website.
The freshman guard also grabbed five rebounds for the Huskies, who improved to 2-3 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at home against Jackson State.
Nwanguma is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.
