Cinco Ranch grad Nwanguma plays in Houston Baptist loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashleigh Nwanguma contributed two points but Houston Baptist University lost 65-57 to visiting Jackson State Saturday, Nov. 24, at Sharp Gym in Houston, according to Houston Baptist's website.
Nwanguma also recorded one rebound for the Huskies, who are 2-4 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at home against UT Arlington.
Nwanguma is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.
