James Richmond, known as DJ OOCHA, founded Karaoke With Friends with his wife, Monica.

Founded in 2010, Karaoke With Friends is a karaoke and DJ service based in Katy. Owners James and Monica Richmond now employ six DJs — James is one of them — and Monica runs promotions, marketing and booking. The couple also have a promotions and event planning business, Boundless Productions, and these businesses feed into each other. Karaoke With Friends specializes in children’s parties, corporate events, weddings, birthdays, and event planning, promotions and marketing.
