Cinco Ranch grad Nwanguma scores six in Houston Baptist University loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashleigh Nwanguma contributed six points in Houston Baptist University's 77-71 home loss to the University of Texas Arlington on Nov. 27 at Sharp Gym in Houston.
The freshman guard also recorded six rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Huskies, who are 2-6 on the season.
Houston Baptist University's next game is 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 on the road against Vermont.
Nwanguma is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was team MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.
