Katy Foods Market seeking new vendors

Whole Foods Market is currently seeking local vendors for its new Katy store, set to open Wednesday, Jan. 30.

According to a press release, the natural and organic grocer is looking for craft food artisans and growers producing in Harris, Waller, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Liberty, Chambers, Jefferson, Brazos, Walker, San Jacinto, Grimes, Austin and Washington counties.

Product review sessions, conducted by Whole Foods Market local buyers in one hour increments, will be held from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 during a local vendor fair in Katy.

To apply for a review session, interested vendors must complete and submit an application form via email to katyloveslocal@wholefoods.com by midnight Sunday, Dec. 30.

Application forms and more information can be found at www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/katy.

Applicants will be contacted by the end of the day Monday, Dec. 31 with further details, however, submission of an application does not guarantee vendors a review session.
