Morton Ranch grad Foster contributes to Santa Clara University victory over San Jose State
Kevin Foster, a graduate of Morton Ranch High School, is a senior guard for the Santa Clara University men's basketball team.
Morton Ranch High School graduate Kevin Foster contributed 11 points in Santa Clara University's 75-54 win against San Jose State University on Dec. 11 at the Event Center in San Jose, Calif.
The Santa Clara University senior guard also recorded two rebounds, six assists and two steals for the Broncos, who improved to 7-2 on the season, according to Santa Clara University's website.
Santa Clara University's next game is at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 on the road against Pacific University.
Named one of Texas' top 30 recruits, Foster played at Morton Ranch for coach Corey Palmer in 2004-2008. His senior year (2007-08), Foster was named MVP and All-District 18-5A First Team. He was also named All-District 18-5A Team and All-Greater Houston Second Team, both in his junior year (2006-07). He is the son of Rick and Gilda Foster.
