Morton Ranch grad Foster leads Santa Clara to win
Morton Ranch High School graduate Kevin Foster scored 31 points to lead Santa Clara University to a 75-71 victory over University of the Pacific Saturday, Dec. 15, according to Santa Clara's website.
The game was played at Alex G. Spanos Center in Stockton.
The Santa Clara University senior guard also recorded five rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Broncos, who improved to 8-2 on the season. The team's next game is 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 against California Polytechnic State.
Named one of Texas' top 30 recruits, Foster played at Morton Ranch for coach Corey Palmer in 2004-2008. His senior year (2007-2008) Foster was named MVP and All-District 18-5A First Team. He was also named All-District 18-5A Team and All-Greater Houston Second Team, both in junior year (2006-2007). He is the son of Rick and Gilda Foster.
