Cinco Ranch grad Palmer scored 20 points in Rice University victory
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer scored 20 points in a Dec. 15 game, leading Rice University to a 60-41 home victory against Stephen F. Austin State University, according to Rice University's website.
The freshman forward also recorded seven rebounds, three assists and four blocks for the Owls, who improved to 5-4 on the season.
Palmer is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
