Morton Ranch grad Foster contributes to Santa Clara victory

Morton Ranch High School graduate Kevin Foster contributed 10 points in Santa Clara University's 72-64 home win over California State Polytechnic, Pomona Monday, Dec. 17, at Leavey Center in Santa Clara, according to the university's website.

The Santa Clara senior guard also recorded two rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Broncos, who improved to 9-2 on the season.

Named one of Texas' top 30 recruits, Foster played at Morton Ranch for coach Corey Palmer in 2004-2008. His senior year (2007-2008) Foster was named MVP and All-District 18-5A First Team. He was also named All-District 18-5A Team and All-Greater Houston Second Team, both in junior year (2006-2007). He is the son of Rick and Gilda Foster.
