Cinco Ranch grad Johnson plays in Northern New Mexico loss
Ashton Johnson, a graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, is a freshman forward on the Northern New Mexico College men's basketball team.
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashton Johnson contributed one point in Northern New Mexico College's 84-67 loss to McMurray University on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Kimbrell Arena in Abilene.
The Northern New Mexico College freshman forward also recorded one assist, one steal and a block for the Eagles, who are 4-14 on the season, according to the college's website.
Northern New Mexico College's next game is at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 on the road against Grand Canyon University.
Johnson is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy. He is from Houston.
