Seven Lakes volleyballer caught sports fever early
A: When I was 9, I had my heart set on playing volleyball. I was very passionate about the sport and pushed myself. I worked hard, and soon there was a dramatic change in my playing performance.
Q: Who is your biggest fan?
A: Definitely my sister. She comes to all my games and tournaments and cheers me on. When it’s my turn to serve, I look up in the stands and find her face before I hit the ball. She wins the award for MVS: Most Valuable Sister.
Q: What motivates you?
A: I’m motivated to be the best I can be as a teammate and as a player. I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to play volleyball, and I want to make the most of it.
