Pope John XXIII grad Costello helps in SFA State win
Pope John XXIII HS graduate Patrick Costello played for Stephen F. Austin State University in its 60-38 win over visiting Grambling State Thursday, Dec. 20, at Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.
The freshman guard helped the Jacks improve to 10-1 on the season. SFA State's next game is Saturday, Dec. 29 at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Costello is a 2012 graduate of Pope John XXIII High School in Katy, where he scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds per game. Costello is from Houston.
