Cinco Ranch grad Palmer contributes to Rice victory

Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer played for Rice University in a 43-41 win at home over UTSA Thursday, Dec. 20, at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston.

The freshman forward helped the Owls improve to 6-4 on the season. The next Rice game is at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at home against Texas-Pan American.

Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
