Weekly sales roundup for Katy, week ending Dec. 2

There were 53 sales in Katy for the week ending Dec. 2, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 814 Harbor Lakes Lane. Heather D. Gallagher and Jason R. Gallagher sold the home to Donna Barber on Friday, Nov. 30. The 2,217-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home was built in 2009 and is located in the Estates at Grand Harbor subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 1730 Oakwell Lane to Iraj R. Keshari and the sale of 20207 Regents Corner Drive to Jerotha B. Esmi.

The Memorial Parkway neighborhood had the most sales in the area with four, followed by Nottingham Country with three and Bear Creek Meadows with three.

Sales volume was 3.6 percent lower than the previous week and 26.3 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Katy has averaged 87 sales per week during the last 12 months.
