Ashleigh Nwanguma, Houston Baptist University

About Nwanguma: Nwanguma is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.

Megan Palmer, Rice University
Position: Forward
High school: Cinco Ranch High School
This week: Sunday, Dec. 30, versus Lamar University
About Palmer: Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.

Colby Adolph, Schreiner University
Position: Forward
This week: Saturday, Dec. 29, at Dallas Christian College
About Adolph: Adolph is a 2009 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. She is a senior forward on the women's basketball team at Schreiner University. Adolph was an academic all-conference selection during her junior season (2011-12) with the Mountaineers. Adolph is the daughter of Willie and Tikila Adolph. She is majoring in biochemistry, pre-pharmacy with a minor in Spanish. Adolph is from Katy.
