Cinco Ranch grad Nwanguma contributes to Houston Baptist victory
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashleigh Nwanguma contributed 17 points in Houston Baptist's 88-51 home win over Huston-Tillotson on Saturday, Dec. 29 at Sharp Gym in Houston, Texas, Houston Baptist's website reported.
The Houston Baptist University freshman guard also recorded 15 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block for the Huskies, who improved to 5-10 on the season.
Nwanguma is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.
