Mayde Creek grad Adolph plays in Schreiner loss
Mayde Creek High School graduate Colby Adolph scored one point as Schreiner University lost 48-44 to conference rival Mississippi College Thursday, Jan. 3, at A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton, the Schreiner website reported.
The senior forward and the Mountaineers are 5-8 on the season and 1-6 in the American Southwest Conference.
Schreiner's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Louisiana College.
Adolph is a 2009 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. She is a senior forward on the women's basketball team at Schreiner University. Adolph was an academic all-conference selection during her junior season (2011-12) with the Mountaineers. Adolph is the daughter of Willie and Tikila Adolph. She is majoring in biochemistry/pre-pharmacy with a minor in Spanish. Adolph is from Katy.
