Mayde Creek grad Adolph plays in Schreiner loss
Mayde Creek High School graduate Colby Adolph scored two points as Schreiner lost 88-41 to conference rival Louisiana at Lafayette Saturday, Jan. 5, at Pineville, La., the Schreiner website reported.
The Schreiner University senior forward also recorded a rebound and one steal for the Mountaineers, who are 4-9 on the season.
Schreiner's next game is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Howard Payne.
Adolph is a 2009 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. Adolph was an academic all-conference selection during her junior season (2011-12) with the Mountaineers. Adolph is the daughter of Willie and Tikila Adolph. She is majoring in biochemistry/pre-pharmacy with a minor in Spanish. Adolph is from Katy.
