Pope John XXIII grad Costello contributes to Stephen F. Austin State victory
Houston native Patrick Costello played for Stephen F. Austin State University in a 71-43 win at home against conference rival McNeese State on Saturday, Jan. 5, the school's website reported.
The freshman forward helped the Lumberjacks improve to 12-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Southland Conference.
Stephen F. Austin State's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 on the road against Central Arkansas.
He is a 2012 graduate of Pope John XXIII High School in Katy, where he scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds per game.
