Katy runner completes ARC Decker Challenge
Katy runner Maria Sylte completed the ARC Decker Challenge on Jan. 9 in Austin.
Sylte finished in 1:53:10.
Race organizers said 1,035 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended at Travis County Expo Center.
Ashish Patel, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:17:37, while Karen Saenz, of Austin, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:34:16.
