Six Katy runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Half Marathon
Six Katy athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.
The runners from Katy and their finishing times were Andrew Spankuch, 2:00:52; Mark Heron, 2:04:31; Bethany Brimberry, 2:27:21; Christopher Gannon, 2:33:52; Paul Bing, 3:08:55; and Rian Martin, 3:23:28.
Race organizers said 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in Downtown Dallas.
Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
