Cinco Ranch grad Johnson plays in Northern New Mexico loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashton Johnson scored two points in a 71-62 loss by Northern New Mexico College, Espanola, Friday, Jan. 11, at Valley City, N.D., the team's website reported.
Johnson also recorded one rebound for in the loss, as his team fell to 6-15 on the season. The next game for Northern New Mexico College at Espanola is at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Mayville State (N.D.).
Johnson is a freshman forward for Northern New Mexico College. He is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy. Johnson is from Houston.
