Soccer star's ritual: Start off on right foot
A: Raul Gonzalez. I’ve always looked up to him, and he’s always been my family’s favorite soccer player. I admire his conditioning and how smart he is.
Q: Who motivates you the most?
A: My father. He’s always been there for me. He gets me everything I need. He’s always been involved in my life and made sure I’m going down the right path. He’s just been a great role model.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: My personal goal is making the playoffs and trying to achieve getting MVP once again.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
A: I usually make sure I listen to music to get pumped up, and then before I get into the field, I have to hop into the field with my right foot three times.
